A Grand Start to the Salt Lake City Bus Tours Season
We officially launched our Salt Lake City bus tours in May with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the introduction of our closed-top double-decker sightseeing bus. The excitement was electric as our first passengers climbed aboard to experience the city from a new perspective.
From the Utah State Capitol to Temple Square and beyond, the Hop On Hop Off route quickly proved to be the most flexible and informative way to explore downtown, the University area, and the foothills.
Special Events That Made This Season Shine
We kicked off summer with several unforgettable moments:
- 🎖️ Military Family Appreciation Event – In September, we were honored to host over 150 members of military families for a day of sightseeing, connection, and fun. Seeing families enjoy the city together was one of our proudest moments.
- 🎶 Tabernacle Choir & City Highlights Tour Launch – Our new Thursday evening / Sunday Morning tour combines the best of Salt Lake’s landmarks with a live rehearsal by the world-famous Tabernacle Choir. It’s already become a visitor favorite.
- 🌙 Night Tours Begin – The launch of our Night Tour in April brought stunning evening views of the skyline, a scenic photo stop above the city, and a whole new way to experience Salt Lake City after dark.
- 🛍️ New Partner Discounts – This season we’ve partnered with local favorites like Caputo’s Market & Deli, The Lady Bag, Western Nut Company, and more — giving riders exclusive discounts just for showing their bus ticket.
- 🍽️ Dining & Shopping Pages Launch – Our website now features dedicated pages highlighting top dining, shopping, and attraction partners, making it even easier to plan your perfect day in the city.
Expanding the Experience
We’ve also introduced new attractions and experiences along our route — including the Museum of Illusions, Red Butte Botanical Garden, and the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Every week, we’re adding fresh partners to make your visit richer and more memorable.
We’ve recently expanded our main loop to include even more of Salt Lake City’s must-see destinations — now reaching scenic and historic highlights like This Is The Place Heritage Park, Red Butte Botanical Garden, and the Natural History Museum of Utah. These additions make our Hop On Hop Off route the most comprehensive sightseeing experience in the city.
